Be careful with this recipe  because it is very addicting for kids, babies and adults. My friend came over and she couldn't stop eating them! I had to limit her three!!

NEED:

2 tbs butter
1/2 C. Sugar
1 egg
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp water
1 1/2 C. Baby cereal

DIRECTIONS:
This time I used 1/2 cup dried squash baby food and 1 cup oatmeal. Use what you have!
Last time I had banana oatmeal left over so I did that instead.

Heat oven to 300°. Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs baking soda salt vanilla and water. Gradually stir in cereal. Knead until smooth. Rollout to .5" thickness. Place on ungreased sheet (I used our pizza stone) and bake for 20 to 30 minutes or until dry. Store in an open container. The harder the better.

These are a winner for Mac!

Seriously? Seriously...Mac IS that cute & judging by the look on his face, I think he might of liked loved them just a little bit! HA!

Ps. I'm pretty sure WE talked Lauren into it! I may or may not have 2 more 'Modern Momma' blogs just waiting, ready to post;)!

Hope everyone is having a great weekend... and for all my east coast family & friends, glad your all safe and having a grand ol' time playing in the snow! Don't think I don't see all your fun photos on facebook while I'm  sitting here at work! ;) xox

  1. This recipe looks great! I just have a question about the baking powder/soda? The ingredients say baking "powder" and the instructions say baking "soda", which one is it? Or is it both?

    Thanks!

  2. My son is sensitive to oatmeal, have you ever tried it with ricer or multigrain cereal?

    1. I've been pinning baby recipes all day and I've seen a lot of comments from other people saying they subsititued any and all diff kinds of baby cereals in recipes for the same results.
