DIY Giraffe Ring Dish

A few weeks ago I shared some of my favorite gift items for this holiday season! One of items was this adorable Anthropology Giraffe Trinket Dish… after thinking about it for a sec, I decided that I actually could make one just like it! This cost me only $5 and makes the PERFECT little Christmas gift! I personally will be making one for all my friends;)!

{Anthropology Inspired} Giraffe Ring Dish

-Rubber Giraffe (Available at: Tractor Supply, Hobby Lobby, Ace Hardware)

-Metallic Spray Paint

-Small Dish(I purchased mine from the antique store for .75, but you can also get at the dollar store)

-Hot Glue

  How to: Spray giraffe & let dry. Add a little dab of hot glue on the bottom and each foot & stick to middle of dish! Thats it!

I am seriously freaking over this seasons hottest color, NEON! Winter can be so drab, getting stuck in the same old neutrals… not this year! The best part about this awesome accent hue, is its ability to literally go with EVERYTHING! {The Best of Times} Wedding Ceremony Program

One of my best girls Jessica{Banic} just got married and the details that went into this wedding were UN-REAL… I plan on sharing many of them starting with this adorably unique wedding program that Jessica put together! Keeping with the 'vintage' theme, Jess bought newspaper paper, and made an old 'newspaper like' wedding ceremony program; naming it 'The Best of Times'! She then rolled them like a newspaper and tied with twine! I love it, SO creative!

DIY Doily Dream Catcher By Lauren

A while back I posted a BADASS DREAMCATCHER DIY by my sister... the most difficult part of this DIY was the 'web' in the middle. Lauren and I were talking about alternatives one day and she shouted out 'DOILY'... ummm duh!!! She ended up making a few, and I am SO EXCITED about how they turned out!! 

Doily dream catcher. 

Seriously so easy.

All you need is an embroidery hoop, Crocheted doilies, Jute, Newspaper, & one huge bead.

Put the doily In the hoop and clamp shut (On my other one I dyed it with tea). Then I made the newspaper feathers by cutting out a feather shape and sliced up the sides. The I kinda crumpled them up an flattened them back out. At the end (the stem) I rolled them up and put them in the bead (I made 4 leaves). On on end of the jute I glued the bead with the leaves and on the other I glue it on the hoop.
You can totally make I your own and put more strings with feathers or different colored beads real feathers.
