Dip-Dye Easter Basket

Eggs are not the only thing that can be dyed this holiday...give your baskets a little dip in some Rit Dye, to make them extra special this year! (I also plan on trying this on regular household baskets soon)

Supplies:
Rit Dye in Purple, String, Water, Natural Color Basket

How To:
-Fill your sink with warm water and empty dye packet in(I have a stainless steel sink, so the dye does not affect it, if you do not, then you can use a bucket instead.)
-Dip Basket in and out of dye until desired color is wanted.

-I personally had about 50 things going on at the time, so I tied a string to the handle of my basket, and then to my faucet so I could just let it hang there, and I didn't have to hold it:). You gotta do what you gotta do, right?!;) ***See picture for this crazy contraption***

DIY Easter Eggs: Snake Skin Egg

Easter is quickly approaching and I know a lot of you out there are DIY'n in the egg department! Many of you saw my husbands amazing CHEESEBURGER EGG, but now I will show you one of my 'less impressive' but still awesome eggs;)! I mean come on, who doesn't love a little animal print?!

This egg was actually one of those happy accidents, that turned out super cool! I wanted to use doilies for my egg dying, but had no idea that they would create a snake skin resemblance! I LOVE them! One of the coolest things about this was the dyed doily that came from it! I ended up using it under a vase in one of our Easter shoots!

{You BOWL Me Away} Candy Free: DIY Valentine for your kiddos friends!

Last year we featured some fun *candy free* Valentines for your kids friends & classmates! After brainstorming for a week and standing in the kids toy isle at the dollar store for an hour going over 'valentine phrases' in my head, I finally decided on an adorable Valentine & FREE Printable to share! I wanted it to be really good, after all if your not giving them candy, it better be;)!

Need:
Mini-Bowling Sets
Clear Treat Bags
Twine
Hole Punch
Paper for printable(I used card stock for a thicker label)

I found my bowling sets at the dollar store, but if you need a lot I also found them on Oriental Trading HERE for $10 per dozen!!
