DIY Racer Back Bow Tank

For a while now my sister has been making super cute bow tanks out of vacation t-shirts... this week her and her cheerleading squad will be heading down to my old stomping grounds, Ball State University, for cheer camp! All of the girls got together and tie dyed some plain crew neck white t-shirts and then my sister Carrigan cut them in to tanks; and out of the scraps made bows for the back! THEY ARE THE CUTEST; and SO PERFECT for summer!!! 

Need: RIT Dye, White T-shirt, Scissors, Rubber Bands

Start off by dying your shirt. Here is a quick LINK to show you how, if you have never tie dyed.

Next: Cut the sleeves out: Cut around the neck(cutting the neck seam out): Cut the bottom hem off.

Next:  Using one of your sleeve scraps and cut one side of the sleeve making a long strip.

Fold down the top and the bottom and then fold in the sides.  Use fingers to 'scrunch' in the middle to make the bow. 

Then to finish it off, use a scrap strip of t-shirt to tie on to the center of the bow; then tie on to back of t-shirt.

You know how much we LOVE P&D Photo Video...Just recently they posted some sneak peaks of this AMAZING Lake Wedding! I just loved all the little details, and I knew immediately that I wanted to share!! 

I completely fell in love with the boat pictures, HOW FUN!!! And then when I received these photos from P&D....oh the details, I just died over these details! This couple managed to keep their 'lake themed' wedding so fresh, fun, and classy!

Frank & Bean Fridays

Its been a while since I did a 'Frank & Bean' Friday post! 

I wanted to highlight some of my FAVORITE things at this very moment!

1. TOMS Kitty Sunglasses: I'm SO IN LOVE with all the new styles of TOMS glasses! Not to mention they go to a great cause!!! 

2.South Parade 'Oh My Blog' T-shirt: We just got this AMAZING new t-shirt line in at WHITTAKER HOUSE and of course I have a particular fav:)!

3.Aztec Tassel Scarf: It's clear that I love aztec, and I also LOVE scarfs, so this is the perfect marriage...with a little added touch of tassels! 

4.DV Archer Sandal: I could buy these DV sandals in literally EVERY color! SO comfy, so cute!

ATE Presents Craft Night #4 {Succulent Monograms}

July has been so busy over here at ATE, and it kind of flew right by us! With that being said, our next Craft Night will not be until August 14th... but don't worry, I have something super cool in store for us!

Strawberry Rolo Skewers

Last months Craft Night featured a fun summertime treat, that I must share! I was inspired by a brownie skewer that I saw on Pinterest...but A. I didn't feel like making brownies & B. I kind of thought brownies may be a little messy...so as I'm running around the grocery store, I immidiately thought of using Rolos! Turns out it was a big hit, and the Rolos fit nicely on the skewers! 

All you need is some fresh strawberries & blueberries and a big bag of rolos! (I used short skewer sticks)
